A number of other interprovincial Labour Mobility programs and agreements exist within Canada that includes Labour Mobility provisions.  Where inconsistencies exist between agreements, the agreement most favourable to Labour Mobility will be used.

International Agreements

International trade and labour agreements are an essential component of Canada’s continued economic success.  All governments are responsible for watching, managing and assessing how trade agreements affect Labour Mobility.

The LMWG was established by the Forum of Labour Market Ministers (FLMM). Labour Mobility Coordinators from all governments that signed the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) participate on the working group.
